PS Vita European 3G Provider Confirmed

Sony have confirmed the provider of 3G across Europe and Australia, click to find out!
Sony is partnering with Vodafone across Europe and Australia for the launch of PS Vita in February 2012. The network carrier will be the preferred provider for 3G for the Vita in the UK, as well as Germany, Spain, Italy, Ireland, the Netherlands, Australia and New Zealand, and Vodafone's partners in France.

Note Vodafone is only Sony's preferred partner though - you'll be able to choose between network carriers when Vita launches.

Neither Sony or Vodafone has yet provided any more detail on the way you'll be able to buy 3G data packs or indeed how much they'll cost, but anyone who buys a Vita through Vodafone will get a voucher to download WipEout 2048 free of charge.

"Partnering with Vodafone will enable PS Vita users in the selected countries to always be connected with their PlayStation life, friends and games, wherever they are," said Jim Ryan, President and CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment Europe.
