Everybody's Golf was the first PS Vita game to use online pass, however now WipEout 2048 also requires an online pass.
The online pass is required to play Wi-Fi games, it is also needed for features such as cross play.
Online Pass will come free if you purchase your game at a retail store, however if you purchase a copy off the PSN store, you will need to separately purchase an Online Pass.
