Hideo Kojima reveals how the rear trackpad will be used in the upcoming Metal Gear Solid HD Collection for the PS Vita, details inside.......
IGN writes:
Yesterday Kojima gave a sneak peak of the Metal Gear Solid HD collection running on PlayStation Vita, and revealed that some re-recording was taking place at the moment.
Today he confirmed that the game will use the handheld's rear touchpad. In one tweet, he revealed that if you flick the back screen, you'll be able to slit an enemy's throat.
He said that if "pinch out left & right on touch panel behind w/ 1st person camera, you can stretch up yourself". Presumably, he means you'll be able to switch between first- and third-person perspectives.
