A PS4 developer claims that every PS4 title must support the ability to remote play games using a PS Vita, more details inside.........
A Eurogamer report suggests that Sony has truly pushed remote play onto its PS4 developers. The report reads:
"A trusted PlayStation 4 developer source with a proven track record for accuracy has told Digital Foundry that Sony has mandated Vita Remote Play for all upcoming PS4 games – except those that require the use of its bundled stereoscopic camera, the PS4 Eye."If this rumour is true then Sony were not lying at the PS4 reveal when they claimed almost every PS4 game will be playable on the PS Vita.
The report also states that 1080p games are downscaled in order to stream correctly on the Playstation Vita:
"1080p framebuffer to the Vita’s native 960×544 resolution, using the PS4′s in-built hardware h.264 video encoder to compress the image."Let us know if you will use Remote Play on your PS Vita in the comments below!
