Borderlands 2 PS Vita Gameplay Details Revealed

So what can we expect on the Vita version of this game? Read on, Vault Hunter!

News about the Borderlands 2 Vita bundle announced earlier today. Bundles are great. They let me know that Sony cares about trying to market to new buyers. $200? For a system, an 8GB card, and the Borderlands 2 game? Deal!

For those of you interested in the game, some details on the game are slowly trickling in. Check out the Sony posting to read all the details, I'll talk about the important Vita portion.

Now, the page says "Bundle features," but I hope that the game comes with the following as well:

Six (6) Borderlands®2 DLC packs including, Captain Scarlett and her Pirate’s Booty, Mr. Torgue’s Campaign of Carnage, the Psycho Character Class, Mechromancer Character Class, Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 1, and Collector’s Edition Pack.

That's a lot of inclusive DLC. The game itself could keep you on Pandora for hours, single player or with up to three other friends online. But those 6 packs? That should be fun.
I couldn't find a Vita specific screen shot. But hold your two hands up to the screen like you are playing a Vita and you'll get the gist.

Now Vita exclusive gameplay?
The game will allow you to shoot your way through Pandora in four-player co-op and easily navigate the maps, inventory, and items using the touchscreen. Continue your adventures at home using the cross-save feature with the PS3™system.

Now, the big question is: Will there be cross-buy if you got this for the PS3? Or some sort of discount? No word yet on any pricing of the standalone game, but we will let you know when we do.

What do you think? Interested in getting this on the Vita, or do you want to hear more on it first?
